These services comprise

• Care and assistance for inpatients
• Short-term nursing
• Day care treatment (also over night) as well as individual offers
• Assisted accommodation in own apartment (“Wohnen plus”)

In Saarland there are 387 beds for inpatients, 29 for day cares and five for short-term nursing for the branches in Saarbrücken, Neunkirchen and Schwalbach. Additionally, there are 43 apartments for assisted accommodation in own apartment.

In Bad Kreuznach, located in Rhineland-Palatinate, there are 90 beds for inpatients of which five can be used for short-term nursing and ten beds for day care treatment. 17 apartments are for assisted accommodation in own apartment.

The aim of the  "senior assistance" is to assist people in shaping their individual life at old age. Here, the elderly are able to make use of offers according to their mental, physical and emotional needs near to where they live.

Customers are in the center of the quality policy of the senior assistance (“Seniorenhilfe kreuznacher diakonie”), aiming to achieve best possible customer satisfaction. We know that residents and guests are competent at living as they have handled everyday life for a long time by incorporating strategies and habits. This competence is to be accepted, maintained and supported.
