Building measure

The facade of the building will be renovated in 2017. The construction works will not affect the museum service. 

Holidays

Open on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Pentecost, including Pentecost Monday, Corpus Christi, German Unity Day (3rd of October) and All Saints’ Day (1st of November).  

Closed on Carnival Monday, Christmas (24.-26. December), New Year's Eve (31st December) and 1st of January. 

"In the Realm of Shades"

Please note that the “Roman Burial Monuments” room is not accessible from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. daily because of the media theatre showing of “In the Realm of Shades”.  

free entrance for university students

As part of the project Di-Mi-Do by the Studienwerk Trier university students will be given free admission to the museum uppon showing their student IDs.
