The Group of Sponsors and Friends supports the Institute of Ceramic and Glass Arts and its students spiritually and raises funds by promoting the courses offered e.g. through special exhibitions, symposia, lectures, field trips and projects as well as publications of the institute. They stimulate the exchange of experience between teachers, undergraduates and graduates and representatives from business and science.
The Group of Sponsors and Friends offers those interested in creative ceramic and glass design a forum where they can exchange information and communicate with each other. Ceramists, glass designers, collectors, admirers of creative ceramic and glass design as well as those who teach this profession get together and form a strong lobby for ceramic and glass art, which defines and sustains its position in an open dialogue with other contemporary artistic communication channels.
We give art lovers the opportunity to support the interests of the IKKG actively by joining the Group of Sponsors and Friends.
Members are offered the opportunity to
- attend field trips or art courses (restricted number of participants),
- acquire students� works at favourable prices,
- be invited to all events, exhibitions and exhibitions of graduation works of the institute,
- attend panel discussions with well-known artists � the so-called �Montagsrunde�,
- attend meetings of the Group of Sponsors and Friends thus exercising their right to a say and their right to vote.
The group of sponsors and friends is recognized as a non-profit association. The 
statutes inform about members� rights and duties.
