Technique of Glass Processing

Thomas Kruck (Shop Manager - Glass)

The versatility of the material glass is second to none.  This goes for the various processing capabilities of glass as well as for its individual appearance. As a result the material glass is very well suited to translate an artistic concept.

In addition to the physical properties of glass, students are taught several techniques of cold and hot glass processing in the field of glass processing technology. The focus here is on glass blowing. Mould making, different techniques of glass-to-glass sealing and glass grinding go hand in hand.
