Even when questions like residence here in Germany or finances have been sorted out, women being supported by SOLWODI need often further support to get integrated in our society. To be accepted in the German society, a good command of the German language is absolutely necessary. But also in other areas support is required, for example when trying to find a flat or to get integrated into the new environment, or to establish a new human network. For all such problems and to answer questions, it`s necessary to have advisors available. Though integration will be easier when being economically independent and having a job, those immigrants often fail to find a job due to the difficult situation on the German labour market or because places in Kindergardens are too expensive and mothers are then not free to work.
