It is a great pleasure for us to present you two extraordinary Ahr wines. Eight renowned winemakers from the Ahr Valley have produced two Spätburgunder cuvées together for the first time for the Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler State Garden Show.
This special collection consists of an AHR Spätburgunder and an AHR Blanc de Noir. Only the best Spätburgunder grapes were used for the varietal wines. So it is not surprising that with the know-how of the winemakers and a lot of heart blood two top wines could be produced, which reflect the unmistakable Ahr wine character.
AHR-Spätburgunder
Spätburgunder is undoubtedly the king of the red grape varieties. The winegrowers of the Ahr are true masters in their trade and create the best red wines in Germany. Due to the steep slopes, each grape is carefully hand-picked and selected. The typical Spätburgunder wines from the region, which are grown on slate, are particularly expressive. The harmonious and award-winning Spätburgunder wines are reminiscent of red and dark berries, dried fruit and a pronounced cherry fruit in the smell and taste.
