With the newly opened Cathedral Information, visitors and all those interested in the cathedral have a central contact point located next to the Romanesque cathedral.

As you enter the cathedral Information, your gaze is directed towards the large, round reception counter. You are greeted here by employees of the cathedral chapter, who are happy to provide information regarding schedules, tours, itineraries, and events. The shelves contain a selection of books pertaining to the cathedral, devotional objects such as candles and rosaries, as well as an array of souvenirs, including cathedral wine, traditional Palatine “Dubbeglas” glasses, and, of course, postcards. Electronic displays show alternating information regarding opening hours and current events.
The visitor centre was set up inside a small cube-like sandstone structure on the southern side of the cathedral.

The Cathedral Information is accessible to those with disabilities. The aforementioned reception counter is also accessible to those with wheelchairs.
