An extraordinary touristic infrastructure is provided by the city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler for its guests and visitors. Well-kept parks and well-tended gardens, clean sidewalks along the bank of the river “Ahr”, illuminated historic town walls and an outstanding network of cycle routes and hiking trails like the “AhrSteig” or the “Red Wine Hiking Trail” are only a few examples for the infrastructure provided. All this can be used by our guests at no charge.
The visitor’s fee, which is charged by the city “Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler”, is partly used to finance the touristic offers. It is charged by the accommodation provider and is usually not included in the accommodation expense.
Since April 2014 contributories have to pay € 2,50 per Person and night.

The “Gästekarte Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler” is provided by the accommodation provider to the visitor. The card enables guests to use all busses of the public transport in the whole district “Ahrweiler” as well as all trains between the village “Ahrbrück” and the city “Remagen” and between the villages “Brohl” and “Rolandseck” at no charge.
Moreover, holders of the guest card obtain a reduced admission by at least € 2,50 at various leisure and cultural facilities and events. For example, museums like the “Roemervilla” and the “Dokumentationsstätte Regierungsbunker” (Government Bunker), leisure activities like the swimming path “Twin” or the climbing park “Waldkletterpark”, the cultural programs in the spa garden and guided tours through Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, the casino in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler as well as wine-tasting-sessions with guided tours through the wine cellars of the wine-grower cooperatives “Dagernova” and “Ahrweiler Winzerverein” are only some services which can be used at reduced price.
