Kaiserslautern horticultural show

Kaiserslautern horticultural show

The horticultural show presents a variety of opportunities to experience nature. Children and teenagers will find all kinds of offers for exploring their environment and "grasping" it in the literal sense. Since 2002 Europe's largest dinosaur exhibition has had its place here. Approximately 80 lifelike dino and mammal models outdoors and many fossils in the "Tunnel of Life" show the development of these animals from their origin until the Ice Age.

A "trip into the past" takes school classes and other groups through the park under the "Dinosaur" or "Ice and Stone Age" theme. There also are regular guided tours of the outdoor laboratory, the herb garden, the vineyard, the Biblical Garden and the willow church. Numerous play and sports areas promise lots of fun.
