Digitization, the Internet and network policy have become an integral part of our everyday lives. The debates about the power of algorithms, data protection, net neutrality, artificial intelligence or questions about copyright in a digital world are just a few examples of the broad topic of network policy. What consequences do digital developments have for democratic coexistence? How can democracy be preserved and promoted in digital spaces?

These and other questions will be addressed by a wide range of activities on the nationwide campaign days "Netzpolitik & Demokratie". All organizations, institutions and private individuals are invited to participate in the action days with their own offerings. Whether classic lectures, panel discussions and workshops or exhibitions, film screenings and artistic performances - all conceivable formats, whether in presence or online, are welcome. The only prerequisite is the non-partisanship of the event.

klicksafe participates in the Action Days Net Policy & Democracy with the web seminar Disinformation and Hate Speech on the Net - Reaction Strategies and Further Didactic Approaches for the Classroom.

The events are coordinated by the State Centers for Civic Education in their respective states as well as the Federal Center for Civic Education.
