Library
Our campus library provides up-to-date academic literature related to our degree programmes. Currently, the library holds about 58,000 books, magazines CD-ROMs etc and subscribes to 190 periodicals. In addition, a wealth of information services is available to users. The library is still growing rapidly - thus ensuring that the resources available reflect recent research in the subject areas covered.
With its many reading and study areas as well as networked computers it creates an environment where independent and supplementary learning outside the lecture rooms and labs is encouraged.
Students with a valid student ID are welcome to borrow library books for a four-week period. Extensions are possible (through OPAC or by sending an email to the library team) unless the books are recalled by other users who need access to them. Books marked with a red or a blue dot cannot be taken out as they are part of the reserved section. Please note that all books have to be returned to the borrowing desk.
OPAC, the Online Public Access Catalogue, lists all the books and magazines available in the library. Students are also welcome to use the literature search databases available. Inter-library loans are processed at a small fee.
The use of most other library services is provided free of charge. Please consult our User Information Flyer for additional information.
