Examination of the university entrance qualification

Як біженець з України, Ви можете отримати тут визнання Вашої дотепер отриманої освіти і таким чином підтвердити рівень Вашої кваліфікації, необхідної для вступу/навчання у вищих навчальних закладах Німеччини (нім.: Hochschulzugangsberechtigung, HZB).

HZB — це освітня кваліфікація, яка надає Вам право на навчання в німецьких вузах (фахових вищих школах/університетах прикладних наук або університетах).

Refugees from Ukraine - with Ukrainian citizenship or from third countries - can have their higher education entrance qualification (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung, HZB) checked here.

The HZB is an educational qualification for studying at a German university (university of applied sciences or university).

  • Central examination centre
  • Recognition at the universities in Rhineland-Palatinate likely
  • No fees
  • Notification within 4 weeks after receipt of all documents

The testing procedure

Requirements:

  • You are a refugee from Ukraine and
  • You are planning to study in Rhineland-Palatinate and
  • You have certificates/documents, but do not know yet whether you are allowed to study in Germany or
  • You are missing documents to prove your HZB*

*You may be able to take the TestAS to prove your eligibility to study.

Then send all documents and educational certificates for verification by e-mail to: ukraine(at)hs-kl(dot)de

Please note:

  • Send pdf documents only.
  • You can submit all documents in German, English or French.
    If your documents are in another language, please send them in both the original language and a German translation.
  • Do not send original documents by post.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide advice on the following topics:

  • Application procedure of individual universities
  • Admission requirements for degree programmes at universities in Rhineland-Palatinate
  • Language skills required for application

Please note:

  • The examination of the higher education entrance qualification (HZB) does not replace the application to a university.
  • For data protection reasons, we cannot forward applications to universities.
