"Everything smart?!" Working material by young people for young people
Alexa, Siri and Co.
The klicksafe explanatory film provides an overview of how voice assistants work and describes their advantages and disadvantages. Among other things, it also addresses the conflicting issues of data protection gaps and the convenient and simple operation of smart technologies.
Key material for peer education
The Media Scouts NRW are deployed in schools in North Rhine-Westphalia and pursue a "peer education" approach. After qualifying, the media scouts can advise other students at eye level. Young people learn from their peers. The material is intended to help the scouts sensitize young people to the safe use of smart and networked devices such as voice assistants and to enter into a discussion with them on the subject. The main focus is on discussing the possibilities and dangers of digital technologies. The new accompanying material includes methodological and didactic tips as well as background information for the media scouts.
Teachers and other multipliers in youth work can also use the working material and the explanatory film.
The accompanying material was created by klicksafe withthe support of themedia scouts of the Werner-von-Siemens Realschule Düsseldorf. You can now download the new accompanying material from klicksafe as a PDF or order a print version.
