New at fragzebra.deReport cybergrooming

Cybergrooming refers to the targeted contacting of children in order to sexually harass and abuse them. At fragzebra.de, it is now possible to report suspected cases of cybergrooming. There is a handout for educational professionals on the reporting function. The reports are checked by the NRW Media Authority and, if necessary, forwarded to the NRW Cybercrime Central and Contact Point.

Cybergrooming is a crime - reporting now also possible with fragzebra

Since January, the State Media Authority NRW, together with the Central and Contact Point Cybercrime (ZAC) NRW, has been offering a simple way to report suspected cases. Cybergrooming is a form of sexual abuse of children and must be punished. Children, teachers or parents can use the new online form to contact ZEBRA, a service of the NRW State Media Authority. After the information has been checked by the NRW State Media Authority, the case is forwarded to ZAC NRW, which records the report and has the case investigated. Reports can be made anonymously; if necessary, those affected should be supported by an adult person of trust. If desired, the teams of ZEBRA and the NRW State Media Authority can provide advice during the reporting process.

For educational professionals, there is also a document with instructions on how to make a report.
