TINCON Theme Week: Mental Health and Social Media

What is it like to be permanently present in the media as a musician? What do masculinity and mental health have to do with each other? And how can therapy be destigmatized? These are some of the questions that will be asked and answered in the TINCON theme week "Let's Talk Mental Health and Social Media".

TINCON, a conference for digital youth culture, does not take place until September, but a theme week entitled "Let's Talk Mental Health and Social Media" is already starting today. During this theme week, young people between the ages of 13 and 25 can find out and exchange information on this topic on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.

For one week, it's all about mental health with a focus on social media. Questions will be asked about how young people are doing, how they are taking care of their mental health, and what social media has to do with it. Other questions include how well online therapy works, whether therapists understand the swipe problem, and what TikTok can contribute to mental health education.

The full theme week program can be found on the TINCON website.
