Online Workshop "Safety on the Net - Accompanying Daycare Children in the Use of Digital Media".

The workshop will address the question of why children should be accompanied in their use of media right from the start and why the teaching of media skills should already play a role in daycare centers.
 
The opportunities and challenges of using digital media for children between the ages of 3 and 6 will also be explored and the extent to which media content, hardware and software can be suitable for children as young as daycare centers will be discussed.

The aim of the workshop is to find out together how children can be shown a balanced and safe use of TV, tablet and co. and which apps and tools can be used to promote various development areas (language, motor skills, etc.). Helpful tips are given, for example, on how to create radio plays, short animated films or collages together with children in the daycare center or at home, in order to show children a production-oriented approach to digital media.
