Your winegrowers' co-operative from Ahrweiler since 1874

The Romans already appreciated the Ahr as a wine-growing region, as this region is still regarded today as Germany's "red wine paradise". Our historic co-operative with its family flair was founded back in 1874. The main task of the co-operative was initially to market the wine. Wine production was soon added so that the individual members of the co-operative could concentrate entirely on winemaking. With around 78 members, the co-operative has developed into an important wine-growing business in the Ahr Valley.

Our co-operative is located in the heart of the romantic Ahr Valley. Here in Ahrweiler, the red wine metropolis with more than 1100 years of town history, we are only about 150 metres away from the Obertor, the western part of the medieval town wall, i.e. very close to the Roman villa and the "government bunker".
