Hiking the long-distance Soonwaldsteig trail from Bingen in the romantic Rhine valley through the richly varied Soonwald forest means hiking in harmony with nature. The Saar-Hunsrück-Steig trail runs for 218 kilometres on mostly natural tracks between Trier, Idar-Oberstein and Perl/Moselle, combining culture and with scenic beauty. Vitaltouren and Traumschleifen offer great opportunities for short hikes, where fans of the outdoors feel close to nature.
