A wonderful hiking trail leads through the idyllic rocky landscape of the Bollendorf Forest. Like in hardly any other place, bizarre rock figures look down on hikers young and old from all angles. Together they tell the exciting story of King Bollybur and the kidnapped Princess Bollonia.
To hike the Bollendorf Fairytale Trail, families should first pick up the fairytale booklet (also available in English) at the Bollendorf tourist information centre in the "Abteihof" or often also at the starting point of the trail. It can also be downloaded from www.felsenland-suedeifel.de to print out yourself. The beautifully illustrated book leads to nine marked points on the trail and is also intended as a colouring book.
