Our Programmes for Schools and Children

We, of course, wish to make the museum and the themes of the current exhibitions accessible to as many people as possible – and that naturally includes children and adolescents as well. 

Our trained educational staff in the Trier Landesmuseum are there especially for young museum visitors. Children and adolescents can explore the exhibitions in the museum’s educational programmes with age-adapted activities related to the exhibitions. Two educational programme rooms serve to supplement practical activities.  

Programmes lasting one hour cost € 55, 1 ½ hours € 70, plus € 2 admission per school pupil or child. Two chaperones per tour receive free admission. For programmes with practical activities, a cost of 50 euro cents for materials is levied per participant. Tours in languages other than German cost € 10 more per tour.
