Youth Protection and Media Competence Report of the Media Authorities Presented
In addition to the family, daycare centers, schools and youth welfare institutions will also find a lot of up-to-date information, suggestions and needs-oriented offers of the media education work of the state media authorities in this report. The state media authorities initiate media literacy activities on site and cooperate with local and regional partners to this end. The report shows a cross-section of qualification and counseling offers for parents and children, educational partnerships and qualification offers for professionals from day-care centers, schools and youth welfare services. The state media authorities have an impact in the states and nationwide through the network and close cooperation, including with the Commission for the Protection of Minors in the Media (KJM).
klicksafe, coordinated and implemented by the Media Authority of Rhineland-Palatinate and the Media Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia, also contributed to the report and, starting on page 84, presents the klicksafe handbook "Ethik macht klick. Forming Opinions in the Digital World."
